ISABEL SEWARD
Young. Talented. Inspirational.
Meet one of Women in Focus™ FORUM's most outstanding teen members, who after holding a 3.5 GPA throughout high school is collegebound this month, recently accepted and commencing her studies this fall at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virgina.

So, how did Isabel get to Washington Lee, and what prompted them to give her a full scholarship rider? First, check-out her track record and "some" of the activites she has participated in over the last six years:
  • Junior Varsity Volleyball Most Valuable Player & Captain for two consecutive years; Peer Leadership Member for two years; School Site Council for three years; Mayor’s Youth Council for one year; San Bernardino Communities Against Drugs Advocate for 6 years (Board Member, one year); Operation Sack Lunch, which feed the homeless for eighteen months; International Baccalaureate Program for four years; National Honor Society Member for one year; Governor’s Scholar Share Award for three years; Volunteered more than 500 hours in community service in four years; Graduated from Cajon High School (San Bernardino, CA), with Highest Honors; Awarded a total of $1,450 in Scholarships by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Inland Empire, National Charity League, Cajon Booster Club, and SBCAD.
Now you know some of the elements which make Isabel so attractive -- leadership, service, commitment, and achievement. But it takes more than great works and excellent grades, and she has that too -- a firm foundation and positive attitude about herself, other people and life!
